Integrating
Mixed Media Fiber & Found Object Works
In caregiving and many domestic situations interruptions are an integral part of the experience. In this current series, Integrations, I return to the question of adaptation. Here, it takes the form of asking how the rigid structure of weaving might absorb and respond to an interruption. Using organic shapes as the interrupters to test the limits of stability, and explore how a rigid system can shift and adapt while still holding to its original path.
